Express Notary Service/The Solutions Group
I was driving back from a signing when I was called by Express Notary Service out of Irvine CA about doing a Loan Modification which they said was about 20 pages. I do these quite often and most are around 3 - 5 pages, but I said go ahead and send me the email. I looked at the docs they emailed and it is more like an application with an application fee of nearly $3000 which I would be expected to collect along with about 15 other items. Some of the pages referred to "The Solutions Group". The check was to be made out to an attorney's name.
Before printing anything I contacted the borrower and she seemed aware of the appointment (I did not get into any details) and was pleasant enough but informed me that she would have to "reschedule" and would contact the company and let them know.
Do I get a whiff of Boston Harbor here? (No offense to Boston Intended)
Now that I have looked at Signing Central I see mixed company names and mixed reviews, although they seem to be mostly positive recently? Have I got the right company? Because I was driving I did not get the fellow's name or have a way to write it down.
Any comments, opinions (I'm sure to get those lol), experiences?

I don't think anyone has had payment issues with Express Notary, when I used to work for them they paid like clockwork.
However, the owner, Henry, is a grade-A a$$hole, as he's proven on this board over and over again. He seems to have nothing but disdain toward signing agents, and he's a snake oil salesman who is always trying to find new ways to make a buck (but share as little of it as possible with us) off of our backs. He's one that I'll never work for again just out of general principle.
