I'm still waiting for payment on a signing I did on 11/2008. They do not respond to my emails, telephone calls and past due statements.

Final Link is owned by Gary Plummer out of Eldersburg Md. He also owned Final Step which went out of business a while back owing lots of people money for closings. It is way to easy for deadbeats to close the doors one day and open the next under a different name. I would call the TC right away and tell them you are not being paid. It just turns my stomach that this loser is back in business ripping people off again.

Once again my soapbox statement is applicable.

The licensing and bonding of all SS, including full public disclosure of ownership interests should be mandatory throughout all 50 States.

Just had a call from them - I asked point blank

if they used to be Final Step = oh, no, he says, we've been around for 6 (I think he said) years, They get that question alot - did research to find out why - got answers - nope, not us. Something like that.

Wish I had asked about Plummer specifically, and they're lowballers in any event.

Well I guess we suckered in. We did 3 for them this month. Packages were between 150 and 175 pages each.
We will wait now to see if we get paid before we accept anymore assignments. If we do, we will certainly raise our e-doc fee!
