Heard this on the news last night - anyone who went through him for car titles, their titles are no good...think they said on TV he had her stamp.

Hard to believe that nobody became suspicious.
He does not look much like someone who would be named Joyce Marie Crumley

I've done many signings where people told me that they never had to sign a notary journal & never actually saw the notarizing done in front of them. I'm guessing he just "forged" after he got home. I would love to work for this company that sent him a $9,800.00 check.

Guess if some can 'get' or 'do' a notary....
no reason someone can't 'use' a notary. P.S. That DOES drive me nuts.

"Police say he used a notary that did not belong to him to forge documents in order to get car titles and liens."
"The notary Dailey is accused of using belonged to a woman named Joyce Marie Crumley."
That's twice in the same article. Don't editors actually EDIT any more?

"Don't editors actually EDIT any more"
The Florida Today newspaper (our local paper) was asking for volunteers to proofread their articles a few years ago.

Have you ever noticed how rare it is that people to read what they sign. Anyone remember the song "A boy named Sue."
Happy Easter to all!

It's better to "use" a notary than to "do" a notary. n/m

Using a notary that doesn't belong to you...
