Last Minute Signings

Just curious. What is a single refi e-doc signing worth that is scheduled less than 1.5 hrs before the time and about 10-15 miles away?

That happens a lot. Are you looking to charge an extra fee for last minute?

Only you can determine the fee you will charge, short notice or not for any signing. What your usual fee for edocs to drive the 10-15 miles is probably what you should be charging. JMHO

For me it would be the same as my standard fee for that signing....

Depends...if it's a single refi, edocs, reasonable size package and no other variables, then I'd charge the standard fee. But if you add in variables like a super large package per set, the signing at 11pm, the entire package faxed back, they want 50 phones calls to them before, during and after the signing, other hand holding/babysitting/nonsense/baloney, etc., etc., and so forth, then I charge a premium price.

For a regular client I'd charge my regular fee. For someone that only calls me in a pinch and never uses me because of fee , I'd jack my fee up 50%.
