If you work with Amtrust ..

You can login to their gemstone system and get a list of Amtrust approved e-sign closers.

It provides borrowers / title companies with a list of approved non-attorneys and attorneys who have varying degrees of "certification" approved by AmTrust. I don't go into the site; however, I remember last year the AmTrust representatives who were looking for closing agents and demonstrating how their eSign closing system worked also explained the different levels of certification; i.e., attorney, non-attorney, in-office, travel, and based on the number of no-error closing completed for AmTrust.

At that time AmTrust was also working directly with attorneys and non-attorneys rather than going through an agency. Looks like they decided not to work direct.

Re: If you work with Amtrust ..

Amtrust does not have a place for notaries to be listed, just tc's, attorneys, etc.

Not necessarily - my thoughts on the initial post were that they were fishing. They said something to the effect 'if you are approved by Amtrust' which sounds to me that they want to bring you in under their umbrella so that they can then tell Amtrust, "look at what we have - a full set of notaries ready to do our bidding."

Like I said, JMHO and not always so finely tuned thoughts to the metaphysical.

What are you paying for these?

E-signs take a lot more time and involve a lot more investment on our part.

Re: What are you paying for these?

I believe AmTrust was only paying $125 directly; I can't imagine what an SS's fee for this type of signing would be.

In that case please tell AmTrust to contact me directly.

Unless they prefer inexperienced newbies trying to navigate their way through these.

Why would you care? There are many notaries here, and Signing Services that use us on a daily basis to do Amtrust signings. Who are you? Are you at least a paid member here? Or are you just trying to advertise for nothing? To be a stupid cheapskate to start with doesn’t bode well with most experienced notaries here that have seen the likes of you come and go….on a daily/weekly basis. If you want help…tell us about your experience, and your references, and your payment record. I’m sorry… but here… YOU interview with US!
