Staples Awesome Paper Deal Found Today, Run don't Walk

I belong to a refunding club online, it's awesome, people from all over the US post deals here, today as I was scanning thru the message boards, a lady had posted a deal on Staples Discontinued copy paper, 8.5x11, here's the acutal post. I went online and couldn't find the deal, apparently what is going on is STaples is changing the outer wrapping to a new label and they are $6.99-$5.99 rebate. It's not online, I just sent hubby up to our local Staples and they have 120 reams. If you buy have them ring up ea. one separately all on one reciept, don't let them charge you by the case. A rebate reciept will print out. You can do it online so you don't have to mail. It works out to a $1 a ream, make sure you have them scan your rewards card so you get your 10% back, cause tax here is almost 10%, this works out to a whopping $838. plus tax - $718. rebate. This much paper (12) boxes will last me all yr.+....

the upc code is 718103027090. I think is says
96 lb weight. also the 98 lb weight is also on sale.
search this site and you will find the other skus listed.
Found mine in BOXES 5 reams to the carton. Remove them from the carton and get them rung up as a pkg, not a case., Debra P, CT

Hubby just got the paper, the store didn't have this out on the shelves and the computer was showing they had 120 reams, but the gal went and acutally got it out of the back and it was only 85 reams. Apparently they were going to hold onto it for the copy center. This is an awesome deal and I'm going to submit the online rebate when he gets back in a few. It's going to be a job just hauling them all in and storing in the back bedroom.

I just submitted the rebate online and it takes 4-6 weeks to get your rebate back but I printed out the rebate confirmation, I obviously bought the right stuff cause the actual rebate form printed out after the purchase at the register. I always print borrowers copies on letter, unless I can't for some reason change the settings. As for changing out copies if there is a mistake, that is extremely rare for me. No one ever has a problem with it, it's easier to store for the borrowers and alot less expensive and GREENER. Legal is $50+ a case at OD and $55+ at Staples. Now I just need to find a deal on it.

can you post the link or the sku/item number and or codes/discounts, cause on their website, the cheapest legal is $8.49 a ream or $85 a box.

One other thing with this rebate is that when you use the rewards card for Staples you get back 10% so the figuring I did, looks like I'll get back a check from STaples for about $58 (on top of the rebate) enough for a free box of legal. or if you take off the $58 from the cost of the total of the 8.5x11, then it works out to be about $1 a ream or $10 a case and that included the tax.A very good deal, again, we pay almost 10% sales tax here, it's ridiculous.
I easily go thru 1-1 1/2 cases a month of 8.5x11

Just as an FYI...when Staples refers to 'Easy Rebate' they send you a loaded Visa gift card, not a check. Also, my local Staples manager wasn't willing to open boxes and sell the reams individually, for whatever reason.
