closing masters

I did my first signing with Closing Masters about 1 month ago and just got my check from them today. I had a very good experience with this company and would gladly work for them again.

Think Harry needs to contact this company...this is

getting ridiculous - this company gets daily, unsolicited advertising - free...and they don't even bother to tell their notaries how to properly rate them on this site...

I agree with Linda

Quit giving them free advertising. Rate the company and let the rest of us do the research. It's much more credible and far less distracting.

I did a closing for them more than a month ago and have not been paid, so we will see.

I did my closing on Mar 8 so it takes about 1 month and a couple days past the date you did the closing to receive your check

It seems to me that if they paid every other notary on time

and stiffed the others they woujld get good reviews and still make tons of money off the notaries they stiffed. I guess that might make them better than SOX?m LOL Wink

Bottom of the page for Harry, but I don't sign contracts and

I doubt I'd work for a company that is so insecure that it needs to have every signing reported as a very good experience. Getting paid is part of the job, getting the money owed you is nothing to get excited about, that is just how it should be. Getting stiffed should be reported. If you should happen to get a bonus, now that is something to report but then everyone would want a piece of that action.

You don't have to report anything for this company. I did this so other people might benefit from working with a good company. They paid me VERY well as a matter of fact.

Yes, we need to contact Harry to stop this incessant posting about Closing Masters.

I personally wouldn't work for them because of the nuisance factor in asking notaries to post reviews on here incessantly!

why won't anyone really say what they mean

...They paid me VERY well as a matter of fact....

I don't get it. Everyone who gets their little note with their check is asked to come to this site. Since you are willing to stick up for them (and just think why they are asking and none of your other clients ask this of you) why won't you tell us what the real deal with them is.

Here was mine: I was offered $125 for a standard refi. When it came through it was 200 pages - 70 of which were broker docs. I was told ... they don't know what size the package is/they get volume from this particular client, that's why the fees are so low - sort of like talking out both sides of the mouth at once.

Since that time (when I refused to do the order) I have been called about once a week by the ever so pleasant Jennifer. EVERY time I allow her to go through her little speech ... she has no idea the size of the package. I then politely decline.

So Erin, please, tell us the package size, what you were actually paid, approx. drive time, and whether or not the package size was disclosed to you at the time of the order. Then, the rest of us can determine whether this company is "good" for our own situations or just ... well, I won't say. Perhaps my order was a fluke; however, someone else posted they were only offered $100.

Inquiring minds truly want to know. Perhaps I've been losing out on a great deal the past 6 weeks.

Re: why won't anyone really say what they mean

I don't answer the phone when they call anymore. Like Sue says, the packages are too big, the broker docs are redundant, and should have been dealt with previously. I'd even go so far as to call the broker predatory, as the fees were way to high, and the broker even charges a "fake" title exam fee for $950. I'm sorry, in NC, an attorney charges between $75 and $150 for title exam fees. Closing Masters allows these bogus charges to the BO's. I don't want any part of them!

I am a firm believer in KARMA! You close these predatory loans, knowing they vulnerable people are being ripped off, and you are no better than the MB's, LO's and it will come back to bite you later on!

News Flash! We should get paid when we work for a company. Go to signing central and give the company a great review. When the company doesn't pay post it here, note in signing central and hire a sky-writer to let everyone know.

And what makes you mad "No Pay Companies" Always check NotRot or ask on the board if you can't find anything about the company. Gas prices are going up here in CO sooo it's not getting any cheapier to do our job.

Happy Easter Smile

Where is Closing Masters located? I'd venture to say that because of the "free advertising", they must have been in business under another name and know exactly how important the "G/B/U" rating system works on NotRot. In order to avoid "B/U" rating, perhaps that's why they are requesting rave reviews for whom they pay. JMHO

Re: closing masters...they're in NJ...and that's also

part of the problem - they're listed in SC already - if they really need to do this, they should be directing their notaries to leave comments in SC, NOT in the forums...

Hear that, ClosingMasters??...Smile Thank you very much..Smile

Closing Masters called me yesterday and we

did not even get to the amount they were willing to pay. I told her that I would not work for them based on their reputation. She did not even bother to deny it. She hung up on me... If someone were to tell a reputable company that they did not pay, I daresay they would at least try to deny or defend the company. The rudeness of the caller is unbelievable. She hung up on me because they don't pay??? I don't get it
