Closing Quest, LLC AKA AA-Notary
I have copied a blurb From the Nashville BBB about these two companies. Read it and weep.
AA-Notary, LLC formerly Closing Quest, LLC – BBB Rating: F 615-515-5542 & 615-893-8858 25 Century Blvd, Ste 405, Nashville, TN 37214 – www.closingquest.com/www.aa-notary.com AA-Notary, LLC contracts notaries to perform closing tasks for long distance real estate transactions. 71 complaints received by the BBB are from notaries saying they have not been paid for their services. To date, the company has only responded stating they are not able to make the payments and all complaints remain unanswered or unresolved in BBB files. It is the position of BBB that Closing Quest changed its name to AA-Notary as a means to conceal their history of complaints.
AA- Notary does answer their phones and will take a message.

How much do they owe you Tom?
I believe they are also being investigated by state authorities - think that's what was posted here some time ago...search here for further info...or follow the link.

a couple of you would join me, by also filing a complaint-it would probably add fuel to the fire and help us to get paid. here is the link to the form tennessee.gov/sos/tec/complaints.htm - 2009-07-23tennessee.gov/sos/tec/complaints.htm

? TN SOS does collections?
I don't see how this falls under their concern, but maybe I need to be enlightened?
Why is it that the FIRST thing other businesses do when they get stiffed on payment is the LAST thing NSA's do - give notice of impending collection, file a collection, file it in a timely manner, and follow-through.
There's a big reason why so many bazillions of businesses use this as a standard o/p.

Please do some research before you do this...
I'm not sure the SOS is going to intervene on your behalf to collect monies owed to you by two companies (or maybe three by now...who knows how they've branched out)....
There was a posting somewhere where the State of Tennessee, I believe Attorney General's Office, was investingating these companies. IMO that's where your complaints should be directed..

I disagree...You are chasing after these idiots long after the fact...impossible to get blood from a stone. These fools have been ripping off their vendors for years...and now you are just realizing that you got hooked. I wish you the best of luck in collecting.
