Day 3 of TMobile's MyTouch...
which is the answer to the iPhone. I am very much enjoying it. It's more useful than I realized it could be.
The internet on my MyTouch is VERY fast. It's fun to have and I love the email and the calendar feature....got an NIV Bible on it now, also.
My data plan plus unltd. min is running me $49.99+$34.99+$5.99 for insurance...my guess is $103-105 per month.
You "could" actually tether it to a laptop and let it act as a modem, but some (on the MyTouch forums) say it is against Tmobile's terms of service. But, those who do seem to like the results when they are on the road.
I have a lot to learn about that but I'd like to know if the phone could be used as an on-the-road wireless modem from time to time.

Re: Day 3 of TMobile's MyTouch...I think it depends on
the specific terms of use of your phone service provider. I have a Blackberry I use that way and love it.

Congrats. I've seen it advertised & it looks pretty cool--linked to Google isn't it? I pay an extra mo. charge of use my Blackberry as a modem. BTW, I notice your profile isn't linked any more.

Brenda: What happened to Boost Mobile?
Just curious, I was thinking about switching to Boost when my contract expires with Verizon.

Misty, looks like Boost is still alive when I googled them. n/m

Jim
Brenda switched to Boost a few months back, and I was wondering why she switched. My daughter has Boost, and so far I am not impressed with anything other than the price.

Misty - - - I never switched to Boost.
I switched to a TMobile plan that was $49.95 a month for unltd. talk nation wide. It's been really great for me.
Sorry if I confused anyone.
