FYI for Floridians
During the 2009 Legislative session, DMV fees were substantially increased for all FL motor vehicle owners. The new amounts are effective Sept 1, 2009.
Vehicle owners with registrations that expire no later than Nov 30, 2009 may renew their registrations on or before Aug 31, 2009 and pay lower fee amounts. The standard $31.50 will go up to around $58.00 on Sept 1.
Renew early if you can.
