Land America

Just gave back a signing for 6PM today. Going by One Stop SS. Checked SC and bad comments from 07/2009.

When I called them back to give it back she said "well we are restructuring, doesn't mean you will not get paid." Said no thanks. No can do.

There's a lot of confusion & misinformation on this one. LandAmerica OSS (One Stop Signing) was never included in the bankruptcy. I agree with them on this one--there was no reason to think you wouldn't be paid.

agree, should have taken it. Even Land Amer is still paying for BPO's, title search/processors etc..

Live and learn, you will get one to replace it.

if they were not part of the whole Land America bankruptcy fiasco, then they wouldn't have told him that they were "restructuring".

How right you are Cari. It is on the confirmation rtn. pkg to: LandAmeria One Stop 600 Clubhouse Dr., Ste 300, Moon Twp., PA 15108.

JMO Why would you want to waste your time and take a chance on them. And she did in fact say "they were restructuring."

Half hour later my regular customer called. So there you go folks

Teddog/CO, You should have taken the assignment. When they were restructuring, they paid me in full. I take their call any time. I made over $2000 from them last year.

See recent comments from July. Maybe some people "lucked-out" appears a few have not been so lucky.
