May Not Be The Right Place But Here Goes
I am looking for someone in NY who would like a full bloodied Cocker Spaniel Puppy. Right now she in in the Beacon, area solid black and cute as a button. My Granddaughter had to leave in a hurry with her mom and sister and could not take Tasha with them. I do not want her abused that's why I am hoping someone is willing to give her a good home. She is 4 months old. Any suggestions are welcomed. TIA

A good vet's office may be a resource for you....
animal clinics or offices have people interested in adopting pets. We had to give up a cat; and she was taken by a family with 2 kids and we go to meet them too. Just another option. Good luck!

Re: A good vet's office may be a resource for you....
Many vets have cages in the waiting room just for that purpose - to showcase an animal in need. What is nice: there is a fee for shots, spay/neuter and tests that have been done to assure one is received a 'sound' animal. I have taken many kittens, feral, that I have found and they get homes and care that is needed.
Free has no value; pets have value and should not be given away. Understandably, there are exceptions, but do you have the time to check out, etc. if you don't know the adopter?
