Maybe someone can clue me in....

It seems like the past several months the end of month has been nothing to write home about. OK maybe, but nothing great. However, the BEGINNING of the month, the phone is practically ringing off the hook. Any idea why this is? Does it have something to do with the FHA interest calculation? I did an FHA closing last week after July EOM, and instead of the first payment being due on 9/1 it was still due on 8/1 and the borrowers were credited the extra couple of days interest on their HUD.
