Have you had any trouble installing your printers? When Vista first came out a lot of notaries were running into problems installing their printers on the new computer. My computer is in the shop now and I might have to get a new one sooner then I had planned.

I would install it as if it was a new printer first, then test it with some documents. If that works then you can delete the old printer.

Congrats on the new computer. Hopefully Vista will be replaced soon & you won't have too many issues with your printers & software. I think that was the whole issue with the Quickbooks upgrade. I'd heard that there were compatibility issues with the 2006 version. I'm not crazy about MS making these changes that end up costing me a lot of money. I bought a new computer last year and was able to get XP Pro from Dell. I've avoided Vista altogether.

What's to say that the new MS OS won't have compatibility problems, as well? I'll be the first to admit that I'm not into keeping up on this stuff, but it seems to me that there's no guarantee that any new operating system will be any more backward compatible with older programs than Vista. In fact, there might be new compatibility issues to deal with. Anyone have some inside scoop on this?
