Notary Public

This maybe should be in leisure, but I thought it was an interesting tidbit of history.
I also thought I had written this yesterday but apparently it went through as a blank posting. Warren Hardy died while on a speaking tour in 1920 and his vice president Calvin Coolidge was sworn in by his father a "NOTARY PUBLIC".

Very interesting. One of the reasons I like to read the postings. It is notary related info. you just never know when you could be pressed into service. Humm Wonder what the fee should be for said service. Smile

Have a great evening.

He also had to be sworn in again later because of doubts regarding whether he had jurisdiction to swear in anyone other than Vermont state officials.
