Property Tax Scam Alert in Maricopa Cty, AZ

If you receive a letter from an entity called Property Tax Review Board, do not pay them $189 to ask the assessor to lower your property valuation. You can do that simply by replying to the assessment you receive in January. It's free and must be done wthin 90 days.

Got my electric bill today. Taxes going up about $30 a year, electric bill up $40 this month. Bit of a disparity.
