pay to sign up?

Do notaies really pay to get signed up with signing companies? and do they get more jobs if they do?

Yes they do, and no, sometimes just get taken.

The so-called job agencies are getting richer at the notary's expense. JMHO

Save your money...boards like this one are the best boards to be members of and to receive work from having your profile crafted to draw the business in your area.

It's a red flag if a company expects you to pay for work. In my experience, the money spent on listings (advertising) on the major sites is money in the bank.
I also don't give any more of my money to NNA.
IMO it pays to invest in your business--advertising, equipment, etc.
