A slight break from signings...

Well, this does it! Had a race with my English Bulldog to grab the mail coming thru the door slot. She won and bit thru my finger as she bit thru the mail. OUCH!!!! 7 hours in ER and 19 stitches in my finger (on my writing hand, of course). It'll be a nice 2 week break.

OMG, I believe my dog would be put away until after the mail came in the future. I'm glad your okay, but it sounds like it may take more than 2 weeks to heal. Glad I just have ankle nippers anymore 4-10 pounders.

In 2006 I took 22 stitches in my right upper arm from the lovely dog next door (I was 9 ft from my front door on my property), spent 6 hours getting stitched, and still did a signing the next morning at 9:00am. And yes I'm right handed, my signature didn't look as swift as it should have, but I made the appt. and I always keep them.

If I could grasp a pen and write my signature I'd do the signings but I have my finger bandaged in a splint with an ace bandage wrapped around my finger, hand and wrist! I'm doing the soduko puzzle in the morning paper with my left hand. I don't mind the break. Smile
