Closing Masters

You won't get paid if you work for Closing Masters. I did a closing for Closing Masters on 10-6-09 and still haven't been paid. I was told by CM that the lender (Lend America) didn't pay them so they won't pay me (yeah, right). Both companies are defrauding notaries as well as borrowers. The borrower told me Lend America defrauded them because LA didn't pay off their previous mortgage. Lend America is in NY, Phone (631)944-6800. Closing Master is a Title co pretending to be a signing service. They are Edge Enterprise dba Closing Masters. They are in NJ, Phone (732)790-0510. They both should be put out of business. There are lots of complaints against them. BEWARE!

Contact their regulatory agency - the state insurance commissioner and/or licensing division.

These companies need to be reminded that our contract isn't with the tc. Anyone who sets themselves up as an ss is obligated to pay us!!!!! How they run their business & whether they bet paid or not is really not our concern.
I also have one outstanding invoice for them. I'm concerned--no answers at phone nos. & no replies to emails.

They responded to me when I questioned them about the nonpayment conversations on the notary sites. Explained about Lend America but my signing wasn't for Lend America. Said they were writing out a check to me that day (12/8) and I got it today 12/15...New Jersey to Calif. in a week. They are paying for any that were not with Lend America. I'm happy I got paid and hopefully you will too.
