FASSnotary not paying

Has anyone else had any problem getting paid from FASSnotary?

I did signing for them in early October and have not received payment. Their online system shows it as open but at a lower rate than the fee we agreed on. And I have emails showing the agreed rate. I have made at least a dozen calls to them in the past week and get nothing but a run around. Maybe they are going under?

It really stinks when you have to spend more time collecting your fee than it actually took you to do the signing. I don't think I'll be doing any more these people.

I've never had any issue getting paid. Usually within 2 weeks. However, I have noticed a sharp drop in calls from them this month.

I also haven't had trouble with paying either, though I haven't had a call in a very long time from them (maybe a month or two).

If the online system shows it open you probably will not be paid. Close it, and call vendor management..tell them the amount is wrong, but it is now closed.

They pay.

I have always been paid by them. I still get at least 2-3 signings a week from them. If your job is still open, you should have closed it and emailed [e-mail address] to request that your payment be adjusted. Why did you not close out the job the day of the signing? Just curious.

I do about 4 or 5 a week for First American and always get paid within about 10 days. They are great to work with... Wish everyone paid so quick...

Thanks to everyone for your comments. There must be something peculiar with this one signing. I did close the job when I did it and it was at the agreed rate. Then somehow it was reopened with the lower rate. Now there accounting department tells me they sent a check a month ago and it was never cashed. That's odd because last week they said their was not check. And when I view the job on their site it does not show a check number as my other signings do.

FASS has always paid me well, but you can't get a human to talk with you. They wrote me up for not calling withing 24 hours, and they hadn't sent me the confirmation! How was I to know who to call? Another time, I became ill and my wife called them about it and we even gave the papers to a substitute they chose, then they wrote me up for not showing up!

They are very imperious and, except for paying well, they "hold your hand" as if you aren't capable of doing your job well. In spite of that, I like them and have done 42 signings for them. Have to overlook some of the Mickey Mouse.

If they read this, I'll probably get written up again.
