Yes the same here. I find this forum to be very positive and quite informative.

Wow! Guess things really have changed here... ;>)
It's been a long time since this board has been accused of being someplace "positive"! That's a change I could get used to... What a nice Christmas present!

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a very prosperous 2010. May your cup (filled with loan signings and general notary work) runneth over!!

Merry Merry Christmas Christmas, Santa's on his way,
Let's keep him with us all year long, His kindness to repay.
Pay it forward, pay it back, Spread goodness all around, Let's keep his kindness all year long, And blessing will abound.
Good tidings, one and all!

Almost 12 in of snow here! MERRY WHITE CHRISTMAS!!!
Snowed like crazy yesterday...a record for here. We pretty much canceled our normal Christmas Eve activities and are doing that today. Still a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS! Hope you're all having a GREAT Christmas and stay safe and warm.
God Bless!
John

That much?
What part of TX are you in? My brother is in the Dallas area - he said they got about an inch, with a coating of ice just to make things interesting. It will be gone by tomorrow when the temperature rises. Of course, not many people down there are prepared for that - they don't know how to drive in snow and ice, and there's little snow removal equipment...
We had about 2 feet here where I am on Long Island last weekend, and most of it is still here.... It's not exactly a white Christmas, more like an off-white Christmas because snow around here starts getting really dirty really fast... Still, I've got this 5-foot mound of semi-white stuff piled up near the back door of my apartment, which is where the plows decided to dump it. Watching this thing melt is going to be like watching the glaciers recede.
Hope that everyone who celebrates Christmas has had a great one, and that those of other faiths have enjoyed our common holiday season.
And there's always Festivus for the rest of us...

Yep...some of it melted today..
but there's still a bunch on the ground. It was nice and icy this morning on the streets with tons of snow still on them as there were only snow plows running on the main highways. It was a record snow here. We had a very White Christmas.

Glad I missed it!
I had to make a quick trip to Knoxville, TN last week. I left my home on Thursday and drove straight through. A clerk in New Mexico told me that a nasty storm was expected on Wednesday, so I wanted to miss that. I came through on Tuesday and hit the begining of that storm in the mountains outside of Flagstaff. Got home on Tuesday night at 11:15 after driving 1021 miles from Grants, NM. An 18 hour day of travelling and glad to be home! The things a father does for his kid! Oh well, it's worth it in the end, that's for sure.

My memory of Flagstaff is also of snow - the only snow
I hit since Medford, OR on my way to Orlando. I thought that OR snow was all I was going to see - big fat swirling flakes, snow laden branches straight from Hallmark's best Christmas depiction - in late October.
As much as I was enjoying the high plateau, I decided it was time to get down to lower elevations.
Glad you made it back safely John. Yeah - the things we do for the kids - many a book could be written.
