On Call closings - anyone heard of them?
Couldn't find anything in previous messages and they are offering $100 for bringing and app. to a borrower 40 miles away. Just wondering if they are good payers.ty

That's them...there in Orlando...
I like Rachel and Tullis - they're great to work with and there's no handholding - but their payment policy is slow IMO.
Did a RESPA 11/25....still waiting for payment - sent a reminder (and I know the loan closed because the borrower called me before they did for the signing) ..also did one 12/3 - still waiting but not 30 days yet..previous history is a signing 3/12 paid 4/11; RESPA's 6/18, 7/1 paid 8/15; signing 7/20 paid 8/15.
They do pay but it usually takes 45 days or so (my invoices state net 30) and I have had to send reminders every time. They also tell me "do the RESPA and we'll give you the closing" - out of 4 RESPA's I've done I've been offered the signing once, and I wasn't available. Two others went to other notaries and not sure of the status of the last one I did on 12/3.
Hope this helps.

Should clarify here...they're slow on paying on RESPA's
about 3 weeks to pay on signings which to me is more than reasonable.
