Update on REO land out of Pittsburgh
Just got a call and now see bad feedback. Please let me know how they are paying before I cancel. Signing is tonight @7:00.

Never mind, I just canceled. One of my signings took 90+ days to be paid. Answered my own question.

Again Sarah called me and they are going to put me on the HUD. She said her policy is to pay 90 days. So it's on again.

Pay in 90 days they sure are helping their cash flow and killing ours. It's been a long time since I worked for them it took months and many calls to get paid, no repeats for me way too much work.

Is REO Land a TC or SS? Either way, 90 days is too long to wait for payment. I hope you receive your payment at funding since they are putting you on the HUD.

So….you’re on the HUD? Does that mean they (whomever they are…but assuming they are a licensed Title Company) can pay you out of their “operating account”? Whenever it’s convenient? Or must they pay you out of their ‘escrow account’ when (if) the loan closes? The way I see it this sure isn’t 90 days. Your check should be cut out of their escrow account the same day the loan closes. If not I’d say they (the Title Company) are in violation of the law. If you don’t get your check in a few days I’d turn them in. Did you keep a copy of the HUD?

They said they are cutting check as soon as it funds. I haven't seen the HUD yet but I'm hoping it's there.

If you're not on the HUD, don't buy the bull.

Got the HUD @ 8:00. The way she explained it to me is that it is on a line that my pay is rolled into other expenses. I was counting on seeing my name but no, my name is not on HUD. I felt sorry for borrowers because it was so late and they wouldn't find someone this late. If they don't pay I will let you know. I'm holding out hope that they will come through. If not, I did what I said I would do and the world hasn't ended. The borrowers were really nice too.

A notary signing agent with integrity has no chance when dealing with people that have none. I agree with your reasoning, and applaud your actions. I hope you do get paid. However if they lied about you being on the HUD, perhaps they’re not to be trusted?

Just got a private email from signing agent that says his name wasn't on HUD but got paid in 11 days. Next signing he did he thought he would get paid the same way but wasn't. So they have done it in the past. He did another signing and it's 120 days and not paid. I called REO and he may have been contacting Mindy who doesn't handle payment. Shannon told me to have him contact her and she will take care of it. Maybe this won't work but I don't give up trying.
