Waiting for payment

I was wondering has anyone done business with Cross Country Settlements out of Maryland. I did a loan closing for them back in October and I am still waiting for my payment.I If anyone can give me some information about this company I would appreciate it.
Thank you

Re: Waiting for payment - Cross Country Settlements

I did one for them in late October and am still waiting for payment as well. I've done two or three for them over the years - unfortunately they've always been a slow payer.

Re: Wow...search here....negative reports since 2006...

I don't think I did a search on them in Oct. because I have worked for them before and did receive payment. I do believe I had to remind them to pay me, though. I was not aware of the poor ratings in signing central - my bad. I will definitely get on them immediately. Will not accept another from them in the future.

I just gave them a poor report on the list. Next time we do business with them, we should try to get paid first.....

Huh??

"Next time we do business with them, we should try to get paid first....."

You'd consider working for them again? If they won't pay you in what you consider a timely manner what makes you think they'll pay you in advance? It would be one thing if it was an isolated incident but, based on the posted history, it's not - it's pattern.

Now, if they have it in their confirmation that they pay at 45-60 days, like many companies do, then that's a different story - you were put on notice that payment would take a while...

Re: Waiting for payment - UPDATE for COPPERHEAD

I inquired with them about payment on 12/2 but received no response. Received check in the mail today, however.
