credible witnesses

Just a simple question: do you charge for a credible witness signature?

Are you allowed to? If so the fee should be in your handbook n/m

Re: Are you allowed to? If so the fee should be in your handbook

It depends on the laws of your state how many credible witnesses you need, and you have to administer an oath to each of them. In Florida, if the credible witness is personally known to the notary, only one is needed - otherwise, two are needed. Each CW has to sign a written affidavit as to the person's identity, and therefore I can charge $10 for each CW oath administered, in addition to the $10 for the original notarization.
