eVolve/Safedoc/Bill Gimbel

We did talk before about obtaining End of the Year reports from companies are hiring us.
Is still good for companies to file bankruptcy and continuing working in the same field with another name. ???
The case is I did an Electronic signing for eVolve back on 08/2008 and Bill Gimbel was part of that company.
After so many phone calls, mails, faxes and sent it to collection agency, I found out that the check issued on my name was CASHED out in Arizona....same place as eVolve.
As today I still in touch with Title company to get reissue of my payment.
Title company asked me if I ever lived in Arizona....how come? i do not have money to take a vacation trip.
And Bill Gimbel is part of SafeDocs now.
All this For Your Information.
And wish me luck to recover my fees.

How can signing companies file for bankruptcy and we notaries who are creditors are not notified so we can file for our payments as other creditors can?
Closing Quest still owes me for 2 RESPAS from Aug.08 and they went bankrupt in 2/09.
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Anyone owed money is supposed to be notified when a BK is filed...for as much good as it does since we're unsecured creditors - bottom of the heap as far as payment is concerned.

Curious where you heard CQ filed BK - I don't recall hearing that and I'm sure it would light up the boards if they did because they owe a bunch of people money. But if you have knowledge that they HAVE, in fact, filed and you weren't notified I'd contact the BK Court or Trustee - tell them you never received a notice and see about getting added to the list of creditors.

BK Notification

Something I learned myself on the process is, Lawyers, Attorneys and Court will look up only what is on the Credit Report.
Therefore, a company or small business dba that did not report it to the bureaus is officially NOT on the list and wont be notified.
If the dba send a formal invoice or letter request then will be considered on the claims.
Even the dba is considered on the claim, will have very small chances to get paid.

So for the rest of the world, the BK has to be accepted in all meanings anyway.
