24-7 Nationwide Notary Network
I got a call last week to do a signing for them. Based on info on Signing Central, I asked for payment up front. The owner, Tracy, was upset by the remarks made about her company. She is telling me that they have been confused with another company with a similar name. They did cut me a check, emailed me a copy of it, and I received it today. Anyone care to share their experience with them?

LOL!! It amazes me how deadbeats get angry at the truth and then lie and say it's "not them". My experience: I had to send a certified demand letter threatening late fees if I didn't receive payment in 10 days. I got the check....then more calls for work. Flat out refused and told them why....scheduler acted surprised.
Since you took a chance, it was wise to demand payment upfront. Leopards don't change their spots.

I have had experience with them and did not receive my payment for over two months for one signing and another took 3 1/2 months . I have not accepted any since then as I had to hound them to receive my payment. You did the right thing asking for up front proof of payment. It is too bad we have to resort to that.

I have talked to Tracy personally on several ocassions and we get along great! I have performed two closings for 24-7 - The Nationwide Notary Network and have been paid for one of them already. (the second closing just took place last week)

I worked for them for years. They were always a little slow. Then the last half of 2008, they really got slow. Kept getting the sob stories and run around. I really like Tracey but, you know we all have to eat and buy gas. Sorry to say, I had to take them to small claims court last September. As soon as they were served, they paid me. I have not worked for the since.
