I did 9 signings last week and I could have done more.

I am in Riverside/San Bernardino, CA

Loan modifications/foreclosures/refinances.

I personally haven't done a loan signing for a "purchase" in over 8-9 months that hasn't been a foreclosure in the Inland Empire CA.

Anyone else has another experience he/she cares to share?

Been busier since the first of the year than the few previous years I have been a notary combined. Mostly refinances, with the rates down, some loan modfications. Did a couple of purchase transactions this month, one for a foreclosed property and another for a property in AZ at a short sale. For the first time, I have had to decline some signings due to being all booked up, especially at EOM.

It is very busy in my area of VA. I was slammed for EOM. I looked at my gross for Jan & Feb & business is up considerably from last year.

I know for the fact that more signing will come in. I work for Title and Escrow company full time and Notary as part time after hours. We have had an increase from 2000+ orders to over 6000+ orders over the last 2 months and the orders are still rising, so pretty soon it will come around. Good luck to everyone.

Local lenders have been slammed

At least one particular lender I know can't keep up. I try to break into this market and they say they have their own people. I dunno - tried a couple times.
