Anyone have a laser printer they love?
Do you have a laser printer that you love? I'm in the market for a new machine and don't want to mess around with a lemon or a machine that is hard to get refills/cartridges for. I'd love to hear about your printer if you think it was a great investment.
Side note: I have two businesses--my mobile signing company, also I'm a freelance writer, so I print a whole lot of draft-quality B&W pages.
Thanks, Jessica

I stick to HP's I have an old 2420 2 drawer that is well worn (never had a problem with it) It has 225,000 pages on it and a new 1520 (I think that's the #) it's compact for a 2drawer laser. Bought both on Amazon.com and saved hundreds vs the retail stores. Good Luck

Re: Anyone have a laser printer they love? Yep...
I have two HP 4100's with bulk envelope feeders and duplexers and three trays and a HP 1320 with two trays and built in duplexer all three have wirelell print servers. I use the 1320 in my minivsan office. Love them all and I've never had a problem now going onto 4 years.

HP2200dn that I bought on E-bay 3 years ago
for $125.00 - not even in production any more but still going strong...
I don't think I'd ever buy anything other than a HP as my primary printer.

I have this printer as well. I bought it used for $20, purchased a 500-sheet additional tray for $25 and recently replaced the fuser assembly for $75. Currently it has 120,000+ prints and still looks crisp and sharp (whatever that's suppose to mean). I also have a Dell 1600n all-in-one that I'll be moving to the car as soon as I buy the next printer (HP 4250 or 4350 if I'm lucky)

I just recently bought an hp laserjet 2430 dtn on ebay for $250 and love it. It is twice as fast as my hp 3015 and it has two trays. My 3015 was a good work horse but I defiantly can see the difference in speed when it comes to the 2430.

I use an HP 2300n with the 500 page tray option. That gives me 3 trays (tray 1 is the pull down). I load legal size in tray 2 & letter size in tray 3 and watch it go. It is connected directly into my router so I can print anywhere in the house at ease. It takes up to 304mb of memory, which also helps. They are priced very reasonable on eBay. I have 2 of them, 1 for backup. I paid about $100 for each one and $35 for the extra tray. It prints 25-29 ppm. Excellent printer.

I heart my HP 2430 - dual tray and fast. Good workhorse.
It died last week, so awaiting a (barely) used one...
Hurry, hurry, hurry...

That's an inkjet printer - not laser...
unless they have a 7500 model in a laser but I didn't see one.

I started with an HP4L, which was slow as molasses (4ppm), but a great start. Then I bought an HP 4si, which is a dual tray tank, but has a large footprint and weighs around 100 pounds. It does about 17 pages a minute. I kept it as a backup, but since buying my 4250dtn a few years ago, I have forgotten anything else exists. It has 260K on it now, I buy remanufactured cartridges on eBay and it is wonderful. I'm shopping for a used one on eBay to put in my camper, and there are good ones under $200 on eBay.
