Just a thank you to fellow notaries
Today I was very disappointed in yet another signing company. There is so much dishonesty and corruption that it is hard to stay positive sometimes. What helps me is that, almost without fail, if I have had a difficult experience with a company there is another notary out there that has too. This site provides a place to discuss important issues regarding this very unique type of work we all do. Today just reading some past postings from other notaries helped me to feel not so alone and frustrated. There is only so much we can do in our jobs. I can see that sometimes we can get taken advantage of and it is hard to stop that from happening all the time. I just wanted to thank all the notaries out there for the great contributions you all make. Your information has been enlightening and useful. Even after 18 years I learn something new every day! That is the joy of this work. Never a dull moment!

Thanks for the post, Christine. Back at you with thanks for your contributions. I have really benefited from the experience/expertise of others in the profession. Frankly, I don't know that I could have survived this business without the support system. Thanks to all!

Agree with you Christine. Being a mobile notary can be a lonely job and every decision we make we make it alone. We spend so much time on our own it is nice to have the board to read, ask questions, share our experiences and yes the occasional laugh. A big thanks to all the wonderful folks out there for their insight and humor in these difficult times
Have a great weekend !

Hear, hear! What a great thread. A margarita cheers to
one and all here in Notaryland.
It is a lonely business. Long hours on the road, making 'instant friends' with borrowers, who's faces are forgotten by the time we ring the next doorbell; the faceless voices on the phone and in emails.
True, we're faceless here, mostly, although there are often pics in profiles, but there is the comraderie, commiseration, the questions and the answers, and often, really great advice on so many, many things.
Hat's off to all of you. Clink!
