Reeves Hary, Inc. still on booking Order
I booked one with them for a signing today that I booked Monday morning. As soon as I realized it was Signing Pro by Reeves Hary, Inc. I called them back and told them I would only do it if they included a check with the overnighted docs. I've only done one signing for them that was done on January 25, 2008. I FINALLY got paid for that signing on November 24, 2008...actually it was later than that but that was the date that was on the check. Multiple emails and calls and the check should be out soon, yada, yada, yada for TEN (10) MONTHS before I got paid.
This was the first closing I ever canceled after booking it, but I canceled it within the hour. "by Reeves Hary, Inc." is still on the Order Sheet so I suppose Reeves Hary, Inc. is still involved, not that it really matters since it doesn't appear to have changed any from the reviews I've seen about them.
I'll be glad to close their loans for them, but I'm not touching one unless there's a check enclosed in the overnight packet.
It was a lady named Jackie that I spoke to on this booking, and Jackie was nice enough. She said, well, but you got paid though....Yah, Jackie, TEN MONTHS after the closing!!!!!! Really makes me want to work for them again...NOT! Guess I was just supposed to forget about that SINCE I DID finally get paid. I don't think so, and especially when their manner of paying untimely apparently hasn't changed, unless almost everyone on SC and the posts on this board are lying, which I'm sure hasn't happened. Even if she had told me they would GUARANTEE payment within 30 days who should I believe? Her or my fellow notaries, PLUS my own personal experience with that company? That's a no-brainer! LOL BTW she didn't make me any guarantee of when payment would be forthcoming if I did the signing.
I'm 99% sure who took the signing for them. I still have a good chance of getting the new overnight docs with a check enclosed in the envelope to do this one.
I'll do signings for deadbeat companies as long as they're willing to pay up front. Book'em Danno! LOL
