Velocity Support Services
Anyone ever heard of Velocity Support Services, southern CA, 714 area code? They called me several weeks ago to do an "inspection" which was drive by a commercial property, take pictures and post a Notice of Trustee Sale on the door. They told me they got my info from this site. I have not been paid and keep getting the run around when I call. Anyone have any info on these people?

No, but in my limited experience, most of these inspection co's are very slow pay...6 weeks or so.

I agree - they all seem to pay very slowly. Many say they pay on the 15th of the month following the inspection. Sometimes that means that's when they cut the check, however they do not necessarily they send it that day.

I worked for Velocity in January '09 --- I received the check at 38 days & after 2 phone calls. On the second phone call I was told my original contact had been in an automobile accident & they were piecing together her accounts (maybe her, too!). I received payment a few days after the second phone call.

Thank you for your response. Funny, I was told the same excuse-that my contact had been in an accident. My assignment was on Feb. 2. I still have not been paid. They told me I didn't send an invoice. I was told I didn't need to when I accepted assignment. Three days ago I sent them an invoice. Today they responded and said I didn't put the number on the invoice. Won't be able to check until I get home. I sent a nasty email back. I don't know that I will ever do another inspection assignment. Pay is only thirty dollars and this is too much of a hassle for that little bit of money. So...notaries, beware. JMO
