2010 Census
In July 2008 I posted an announcement about job opportunities at the Bureau for next year's census. Since then many of you have applied and been hired. I applied in July or August and never heard a peep (of course...story of my life). Well, this morning I received a phone call from their HR Department (yep...they're working today) scheduling me for the 30 minute test.
The representative offered that due to rising unemployment, they've been overwhelmed with resumes and letters of interest. They anticipate having no problems filling all of their job openings.
Those of you interested in this - keep an eye on your caller ID. They aren't calling to ask you questions about your life. You are being contacted to be scheduled for the placement test.

You can review the test on line before you go to take the test. When you call they will give the web site address also.
