Well, for one thing...

after I accepted the assignment ande read all the bad press, I immediately informed them that I needed to be paid in a timely manner. They gave me a date which was the week of Feb 10th. I was pleasantly surprised to be paid 2 weeks earlier than they quoted me.

At least you got paid full amount. Signing done on 10-25-08, finally paid on 1-27-09. I was told the check was sent via online banking and should be received by 10-26-09. Instead I received an email saying I was being paid by Pay Pal on 1-27-09. I was not given a choice. I accepted the payment, only because I didn't want to end up like others who were not paid. Pay Pal charged me a fee of $5.20 to accept. Therefore, I did not receive full payment.

I feel their way of doing business is unprofessional. It takes forever to get someone to call you back or email you. No correspondence. After finally receiving an email stating they would pay me, I sent an email Thanking them for looking into this matter. They said, "No problem, now maybe you can post something positive online."

After owning our own printing business for 21 years, we never could have stayed in business if we operated this way and treated our vendors this way.

Definitely unprofressional. In a follow up conversation I had with them, I mentioned that I read really bad things about them. The person mentioned that their lawyers are looking over the posts about them. That's when I knew that all the posts were true. I didn't hear of anyone being sued by them for making false accusations.

I was just was reading an article about "being sued" because of posted information on the internet. It seems a specific Federal law concrening this makes it all very hard to sue over internet posted items.
Any way, if a company is having trouble paying their independent contractor's ("us'en" Notaries/SAs) how many att'ys are going to take a case like this for them unless they are being paid up front.
A couple of GOOD things you can say about an a'tty is they are NOT cheap and they want their $$$.

They had sent me an email about a post I made a few days ago. The point is that all the posts/remarks are negative. I know we make a point here of mainly posting about deadbeats, etc., but there is no point to continually bash one particular company. I think it's better if we use Signing Central to post our experiences.

I disagree

I also am having a terrible time being paid by this company, and would never work for them again. However, we should continually post negative abou them, this company is not even listed in Signing Central. Signing Central is too unreliable.
