EOM
I would like to know how everyone did this EOM? I had lots of calls we just could not do them all, most were meeting my fees too!
The last 2 months for me have been very busy with purchases and refis! Anyone else care to chime in?

Re: Telephone was silent for me...
There was a little pick up for me, but I was not "swamped" by any means. Maybe next month I will be! Calls are increasing more every day.....things are looking promising even in the rural area that I cover. I am seeing some awesome fixed rates in the 4.5 - 5.5% range so that has to produce some biz.

It's picking up a little
I am also getting calls with low fees or too far away. One company practically begged and said "Nah - I need $$ or I don't go."

My phone is ringing for general notary work and loan mods. With regards to general notary work - having one's signature notarized is becoming a routine thing on the most average of paperwork. A signature doesn't seem to be accepted on its face anymore. I suppose identity theft and scam artists have caused the trust factor to greatly dwindle. I'm not complaining as it's more business for me. It's just interesting to observe this trend.

The last 2 months have been virtually dead.
EOM the last two months has been a pair of duds.
If there's any improvement...it certainly hasn't shown up here.

it was alright. If it wasnt for my regulars, it would have been pretty dry. I guess too much competition over here.

Business has been picking up for me. More calls for loan mods and single real esate documents signings in addition to loan packages. It seems that Wednesdays are especially busy for me. This past Wednesday night I had two appointments, one for a refi and one for a subordination agreement, and I had to turn down a third signing for which I was called about as I was getting ready to go to the refi signing, telling them "I'm all booked for tonight".

The past month was slightly busier, although this week was dead. Lot's of calls for general notary work which I used to turn down, but they add up! Let's hope for a great Feb!

It's been really busy here, with some new business at EOM for VA Streamline Refi's & Navy Federal Refi's. I am noticing that many companies are offering lower fees. I have, for the first time, given some "volume" discounts. I'm having some EOM JET-LAG!

I got more calls for EOM, but now my phone is silent. I feel business improved overall in January, but not enough. I would love to make a living as an NSA. I'm hanging in there.

I was very busy all month of Jan. I loved it. Wouldn't you know though that we got ice and snow for EOM on Monday. It was horrible. Managed to get 2. For the 1st time in a long time I have receivables at $3500. Yeah!

It was a slow but steady month for me. The past few months I have been doing almost as many general notary assignments as real estate closings. Many more purchase closings with most of them being REOs.

We were very busy. It was actually our best month since moving to PA 18 months ago. I hope it continues.
