Foreclosures up, 81% from 2007 to 2008

Probably won't level out until year end 2009. Not sure how loan modifications are really helping the masses.

The worst states for foreclosures overall: CA, NV, AZ and FL!

Loan modifications will only help folks who still have an income/job. Yes it's open for discussion on just how much help modifications will help home owners. There are many complaints from consumers regarding lenders who are "dragging" their feet to help them. Every news agency on any given day reports the number of people desperate for help in the thousands. These people so desperate for help are unable to get the help they need.
The outcome remains to be seen.
