Genuine Title
CSNA's beware. They are listed here and it is not good, however here's my situation. 11/14/08 and still waiting. No answers to emails, rude on the phone, and still no check. I will never work for this pathetic company again. Grrrrrr

Watch how polite they become when you serve them with a summons.

I have an unpaid invoice from 11/10. When I call Konstantin's cellphone, 410-428-2676, it goes unanswered. I have left messages for Jay, the owner, on his cellphone 410-935-1735 and sent faxes to 433-738-2401, but, have not received a response.

I did a closing for them last night (163 pages!). I have done 4 closings for them so far in January, and I have gotten through to him each time. And they have paid me for all closings I have done in the past.
Good luck.

Leon, how long did they take to pay you in the past? I hope you don't go through this like the rest of us. Please let me know if they pay you on time, or even close. I can deal with losing $125 but $500 would really tick me off.

Wow...I did file with the ICB...in this case misery doesn't really like company. I guess I'll take it to the next step. It's a wonder how these places stay in business. I guess they keep finding new "pigeons". Well at least we all learned our lessons.

The last 2 closings that I did for them in 2008, they took 41 days to pay for one, and 50 days for the other. I haven't been paid for the 4 in January because they are fairly recent. We're only 2 weeks into the month.
I'll give you my honest opinion. They are having some problems keeping up with the volume of work they're doing. And I think that one of the ways that they are trying to deal with it is by using their voice mail. I'm sorry if they were rude to you. But they have never been rude to me. Konstantin always speaks with me in a professional manner.
I don't have any 'inside information', but from what I can gather, they are getting a lot of business. Perhaps more than they can handle with the staff that they have. They should definitely hire more people. I notice that I have been getting calls from someone other than Konstantin. I got a call last Sunday afternoon from her. She appeared to have her hands full trying to find closers for all of the assignments she had in my area.
If anyone cuts them off completely, I think they're cutting off a source of income. Yes, perhaps a source of headaches too in the short term. But they are not broke. They will pay. Perhaps not timely. But they will pay. That's just my opinion.
Good luck.

I just tried the nice guy approach 5 mins ago. I sent my invoice to the boss, on the advice of another notary (today). We'll see how this goes.
