Great way to start the New Year!
Well folks the New Year is starting off on the right foot. Two for today. Gee you would think folks would be "recovering." They must still have enough strength to hold a pen, or I sure hope so.lol
My best wishes to you all in 2009. May we all have more work then we can handle

I had a LO from a local bank , tell me to expect a lot of business in the next 3 months based on the refi applications he is processing!

Could be. But I also had a loan officer tell me that applications may be way up, but it remains to be seen how many people will actually qualify. The days of anything-goes-underwriting are long gone. Banks and lenders have now swung in the other direction and are being ultra careful in what they will approve, with strict criteria for loan qualification. I suspect this will be the case for a long while.

Yes and if we do
my suggestion would be to keep this information under our hat. I remember 6 -7 years ago when the boards were full of remarks like "how great a business this is" and all of a sudden there was a great increase in the number of NSA's. I'm not saying that posting on a board drew everyone's attention to how lucrative this business was at that time, but for one I'm not going to take the chance this time around (providing it does come around). Old but very true statement, "Loose Lips, sink ships".

Good advice Dorothy
I don't tell everyone exactly how I brush my teeth, either. Some things are better left to ourselves, this being one of them. All I need is another low-ball NSA in my area.
