Help!!! with pdf files

I have sat here all day just about trying to restore and contacting various sources no such luck. I have a HP Pavillion with Vista and before I was able to pull all pdf. files up with adobe 9 but for some reason all of a sudden I can only pull up certain files which contain docs but not able to pull up confirmations. I would think if something was wrong that it wouldn't allow me to pull up any pdf files considering docs are 125+ pages and confirmations are only 1 or 2. I have tried to save as well but get the same box it shows the earth sending docs to file but does nothing. I tried Save target as and it comes back and says no such interface supported.
Please if any one could help I would greatly appreciate it. I have three confirmations not able to pull for tomorrow. Thank God I have a Blackberry I can read them on there. But still like the paper trail.

Re: Try going back to Adobe 8.

Ok, but what is really weird is that I just forwarded the email message from my msn account to yahoo email account and I am able to pull up and print just fine. Does that mean maybe my security settings on msn is not allowing me to pull up certain docs?

Yes ....

The problem you described is not related to Adobe. I personally have a dedicated email for my notary work from my ISP.

If you use the orange search button and search "Adobe" or ".pdf" there is a treasure of info concerning this subject on this site.

Also, you should always have the latest updates on your computer for ease of use and most especially security reasons (Adobe 9 has a lot of security fixes in it) . For example, there is a nasty worm making the rounds and it is making the rounds on systems that aren't updated. Microsoft released a patch way back in October, but it is estimated that 1/3 of Windows users have not applied the patch. Hackers watch to see what patches are released, and then they reverse engineer a worm or virus to take advantage of those who don't update.
