JMT Document
Has anyone had any recent experience with JMT? I worked for them in the past and they were great. There is no new posts which I am hoping means that they still are doing well. Thanks!!

They are still great, although I only close for them if it is close to home.

I too only do closings close to home because of their low fees. They used to send me a lot, but not much at all now. The signings are quick and easy so the lower fee is usually fine, but it only makes sense close to home. They won't pay more for long drives. They always pay on the date on the confirmation which is usually around the 20th of the month. Sometimes that means you wait for awhile for payment depending on when it closes, but always pays on time.

I worked for them for years. Always paid as agreed.
B U T what hassle...call when you get the assignment...and call, call , call after that.
And if you miss a call they ding you $10.
Finally just got so sick of the whole shooting match...I told them I've had it and told them to
quit calling me.
And, to this day they haven't called. Good Riddance!!
Almost all of it was Quicken stuff. That was no problem...it was JMT and their handholding.
It just got infuriating.
For somebody else...they may be just fine.
But the handholding coupled with the low pay and their threat of $10 penalties was finally
just more air than this balloon could hold.

JMT good ...
If it's close and you don't anticipate a higher paying client calling, I like JMT. You do need to "follow the rules" and understand their payment policy.
