Todd, what IS the purpose of the board?

If it's not to make a few bucks, is it to whine about companies that don't pay? Is it to argue about which notary laws are better?

Ted is a man of his word, and he pays as promised.

Two thumbs up in my book.

Re: Michigan Notaries needed! payment in 3 -5 business days

I found the opportunity to work with Ted in this forum. I am very glad I did, it has provided me with orders and his payment is very timely. Very professional and honest.

All good comments taken into account

this is still no different than the other companies that have come on here with basically the same message - offering work to notaries.....and they've been deleted for advertising...so what's good for the goose....which is why I think Tony chimed in immediately...Smile

I, personally, don't have a problem with this type of post - very benign and polite but letting notaries know the work is available....but it IS advertising as the term has been interpreted and applied in the past...I really do feel we need a separate tab specifically for this type of post - the way the market is right now we can use all the help we can get in finding work....Harry????

I think not on the separate tab....

While it sounded like an excellent idea--after all--we're all looking for work, right? On reflection, some will post daily, many will start using it as a 'findanotary' auction site for a specific job. There already is a list of companies that hire notaries, so this seems redundant and easily abused.

Re: My apologies to all

Everyone who has accepted work from me know this comes for being in a notary network that did not work in regards to passing on work. It became very obvious that "turning away business was not good business" so I started taking all and passing it on. Many notaries can testify that work was sent to them at little or no profit to myself. It seem like a win-win for all.
Perhaps it would be better if those who know what I'm doing posted a referral like others have done for good companies to work for.
Again my apologies to anyone who thought this was improper.
