NJ Notary

This questions has come up....I am a NJ notary, however, can I notarize docs for properties or people who live in other states if the person that comes to me lives in NJ?

I say yes, If I lived in any other state I would have to be certified/notarized for that state, correct?

As long as you and the signer(s) are meeting in NJ, you're good to go. You follow NJ laws, of course.
