Re: Office Depot, Staples, Office Max, etc. all have ink

Thank you all... thats what I thought, but I was praying I didnt have to buy a whole new stamp... this is the first time the ink has started to dry out and just wanted to try to cut some costs... Times are hard!! lol

Thanks again for your responses!

Just make sure that the ink you buy is compatible with your stamp. Some inks can ruin your stamp if you use the wrong kind.

And, you should always have a back-up!

Re: Office Depot, Staples, Office Max, etc. all have ink

I just had to re-ink mine... the ink was only $5 but it was specifically made for my stamp...you need to be sure to have the right ink. Also, they can be a bit tricky to open depending what kind of stamp you have. I second the motion to always have a spare stamp. I order 2 when I get a new commission.

I buy mine from Staples they reink for free, I also have three for each commission renewal so I've always have a good one.

I hate to ask, but are you saying that ink can be added to the self-inking notary stamps or is that for another type of stamp?

Notary Rotary sells a number of stamps and ink

including the Stingray that I use and buy the ink for here. Refills are only needed every month or two. The model I bought has a smaller image than many and it better fits many documents lacking a lot of space.

I just read up on the notary stamps under notary supplies on this website. I learned a lot. I also ordered additional E&O coverage. Notary Rotary makes ordering supplies easy.
