Question about Ditech

Has anyone heard that Ditech aka (GMAC) may be selling out to another company ?? Just a rumor I heard wondering if there is any truth in it.

As far as I know, GMAC took on bank status and was given part of the financial bailout.

also. It is also why they are advertising such low interest rates on GM car loans.

GMAC - hiring

GMAC, is advertising on Craigs List in the San Diego county area for employees in the following catagories: Loan Officers, Loss Mitigation Specialists, Licensed Real Estate Agents, Telemarketers, Managers and support staff. This is in Carlsbad CA. Looks like they are going heavily into the Mortgage business here.

I have been trying to refi through ditech and can't get through to a person. I applied on line and someone called me and put me on hold and never came back to the phone! I also am waiting for a quote from CW.

Wouldn't surprise me. Got a message on our voice machine when we got back for the Holidays from our Mortgagee - GMAC. They want us to call them regarding our account. Nothing late or has it ever been late. Maybe they are going to offer us part of the bailout????
