I did 3 for them in 2007 and '08 (last in sept 2008).
I have no negative notes on them.
You might check with Paul Williams (PAW), he is in Fl.

Curious that their name came up - I was contacted by them twice in the past two weeks. The first time they asked me all kinds of questions - how many closings have I done, etc. After spending about ten minutes on the phone with this person she asked me if I could close a refi for them in a town about 12 miles away. I told her I could and stated my fee. Guess what - they said no, sorry, we can only pay $. I said sorry, I am not going to reduce my fee so you can pay your bills off of me while I wait for 30-60 days to be paid. The second call I got I was not available at their particular time (and evidently the time couldn't be changed). Just passing along my own personal experience. This used to be a good group to work for and you got paid within two weeks and yo didn't have to dicker fees.

I did 2 closings for them on the same borrower and I was surprised by my check. They will only pay for a full closing if the LOAN FUnds, which we have no control of. So expect 1/2 if you go and complete the closing and fex-exp the doc., and the LOAN does NOT FUND. I wish would have known that before spending hours on the same borrower twice in one week.

Also, they took over 30 days to pay me and I had to hound them.

Received a phone call to conduct an Application Signing. Quoted me $50 that was to cover printing over 40 pages, collecting information. Oh, the "dangling carrot" to entice me was that i would in return receive work again for the final closing witness signing and now i only need to print one copy. After reviewing the info, i in return replied to their email that my fee for this would be $75.00 which i felt was more than fair. A phone call came in from this SS with a voicemail going on and on about what i only have to do to rectify this extreme amount of $50 they are offering me. While i was within a signing my assistant returned the call to not keep them waiting if i would continue for $50 with this order for them. My assistant stated that the SS was very rude to him and went on to say they will find another Notary to work for this. I received an email from this SS letting me know again, what i needed to only do for $50, that i need to do my homework about this subject stating this is the industry standard for this type of order provided, let me know that they were not paying $75, let me know they found another Notary, advised me how to conduct my business about my assistant's behavior, and then to top it off to call them if i have any questions.

First of all....i want to know who called who to contract who? Second...who are they to tell me how to conduct my business? Third....who the 'he _ _' do these people think they are? Very insulting an a disgrace to this business. Harassment by email and verbal statement of a threat to remove me from their contacts. To top it off they have only contracted my services maybe twice in a year! Needless to say i did not respond to this type of email to fuel the sender's (SS) ego. Will not stoop to this level of ignorance, placing this nicely. Yes, Sunshine Signing Connection please remove me from your contact list. Please.....after many years in the business, i'm happy to say i do not need a middle man to make money off of me, treat me or other fellow Notaries with such disrespect and question our integrity when it is you who needs to get current with all of the above.

At Sunshine we have a set amount that we can pay for loan apps which is with the industry standard. We do not renegotiate after a signing agent and sunshine agree to a fee. We are a very professional customer service oriented signing service who is known for paying our notaries with in a net of 30 days and being fair. Everyone is not going to agree with our pricing or policies but we are upfront and honest about everything. We take pride in having a good reputation and we do care what vendors think of our company. We know that if it were not for the professional vendors we hire our company would not be where it is today.
