What B. S. about getting paid. Did they tell you upfront that they don't pay until they're paid? Sounds like they need to not be in this business if they're waiting for payment from a tc for months! Excuses-B.S.-excuses-B.S.

I would send the SS a certified demand letter requiring payment within ten days from the date of the letter, informing them that next step in the collection process will be to contact the TC. If no payment is received, I would send a certified letter to the TC stating that I was not paid from the SS and they are responsible for payment. If their response is "we paid the SS so it's not our problem", I would remind them that it IS their problem and inform them if payment is not received within 10 days, the Insurance Commissioner for their state (or whatever the regulatory agency in their state is called) will be contacted and they will be reported for "financial irresponsibility via theft of services".
How would the TC be "financially irresponsible"? CHOOSING to contract with deadbeat companies is irresponsible. How would there be "theft of services"? The Notary was stiffed.

I stumbled upon this bit of information today, which is a bit odd, considering that none of the phone numbers are the same. The address shown for AA is the same address listed in Signing Central for Closing Quest.

What an interesting discovery. The addresses are exactly the same, including Suite #. Did anyone check if this is a physical address, or one of those addresses at a mailbox store? Both companies are know deadbeats.

I checked it out on Google Maps. It it a large office building. Interestingly, Suite 405 has 5 businesses listed: A Title Quest (Phone 615-515-5656), Closing Quest Nationwide (Phone 615-515-5667), 123 Bankruptcy Help (Phone 615-515-5656), One Stop Mortgage, Inc., and Joseph Beecham, Atty. Looks like they're operating under several different company names, but all tied together. I hope this additional info is helpful to anyone trying to collect from them.

Darned, I should have started a new thread so I could link it to the profiles.
