All MD Licensed Title Producers
Who is attending the meeting tomorrow?
I am going to do my best to make it and speak. I have spoken to quite a few of my clients and they are saying it will never make it through and are not worried.
Anyone else have a different POV?

I hope you all are successful in getting that defeated. I understand the reason for needing to tighten up in the industry, but it was the brokers that were the biggest problem. What they propose for TPL is ridiculous. LOL

My thought is we should carry a different license.

Re: I agree with Traci
I agree with Traci . If you read Senate Bill # 86 , and I hope all who attend do read... you will see that this bill does not apply to us as Title Producers. This bill is meant for Escrow /Title Companies.

I spoke to an out of state national title company, the legal dept says no way and if they thought it was iffy they would be like bees on honey. I will be there speaking tomorrow. Hope we show up in numbers....

There should be an A and B title insurance producers license. A for the title company and b for the field people, closing agents. It will be in my statement to the committee. Wish me luck guys and hope you all are there.
