Bank of America to cut branches

Bank of America (BAC) will soon cut about 10% of its 6,100 branches across the country, The Wall Street Journal reported this morning.

Liam McGee, president of Bank of America's consumer and small-business bank, said that "shifting consumer preferences were behind the closures. As more people bank online and through their cell phones, fewer physical branches are needed, the report said. "

Easy, through a blackberry or I phone with internet service.
