BlackBerry Curve Sync

I have had a BlackBerry Curve for a couple of months and can't figure out how to sync it with Outlook.

I have a Curve as well, Lynn... and the syncing is so tricky (and somewhat buggy) that I actually don't sync my email. I have it setup so that I get all my email to my Blackberry, but the messages aren't deleted from the server until I delete them from the Blackberry (and the server via Del+M) or download them via Outlook. Of course, that means I get email in Outlook I've already dealt with... but I never have to sync.

Syncing does work for some people... but i've always found it to be annoying, especially with duplicating contacts.

I've Never Had a Problem with Mine...

...it's synced correctly from day one. That's a very good tutorial on CrackBerry by the way.

You Must Install....

...both BlackBerry Device Manager & BlackBerry Desktop Manager. You set the parameters for syncing with Outlook under the Desktop Manager. Did you try & follow the instructions linked to by Marian? I thought it did a good job of explaining the process.

I get emails on both my BlackBerry and deskgtop; what I can't figure out how to do is synch my contacts and calendar from Outlook.

I sync my Outlook and BB several times aday. I keep all my apts in my outlook calendar with addy, phone numbers, etc. I can call BO from the calendar entry. I don't sync my email, it goes into my BB. That way I know when docs come in, etc. But I tend to answer most of my email from my computer, not BB unless I have to.

When setting up the sync software, you just have to tweak it just right. I have it sync all my calendar entries in the future 365 days, but go only 5 days in the past. It's all in how you set up the software.
