DENISE THOMPSON IS THE BEST!

I'm not sure what all this negative talk about Denise Thompson is about, but she is the absolute best person to work for. I have been working for Denise for the past four years, and she has ALWAYS been kind, responsible, professional, timely, and has MOST CERTAINLY ALWAYS PAID! It is absurd to me that someone would accuse her of not paying! I have many, many friends who also work for her, and they (like everyone) have ALWAYS BEEN PAID AND in a timely fashion. I can't believe that someone would get on here and bad mouth someone who is one of the very best in the business. She has been in this business for over eight years, and is very well known, appreciated, and liked. Ask ANY of the title companies she works with! They all LOVE HER! Poor person must of had a bad day...Anyways, if you want to work with someone who knows what they're doing in this business, has tenure, works for credible title companies, and will ALWAYS pay you, then work for Denise Thompson. Just call her up if you have any questions about the crazy people who have made negative comments; she is completely down to earth and willining to take her time to talk to anyone about the situation. I am Brittney Tobin, and I am actually not sure who is talking bad about her for the same reason that you asked me my name...I don't know who they are. Denise Thompson is the President and Owner of E&E Closing Services. You haven't "heard a peep outta" me before today because I don't find it productive to sit on websites and comment on people's postings. However, I did see an opportunity to clear the air about someone who has provided me with over $35,000 extra this past year.

I have two questions:

1) Did Denise ask you to post this?

2) If she is President and Owner of E&E Closing Services, why isn't that info on her confirmations? I've never worked for her, but past postings have said that she represents herself as an employee of Equity Land Title Group, and her confirmations come through with no address or land line number (only a cell phone number and a Comcast e-mail account). Those are red flags for most of us.

1) No she did not.

2) She does not have that information on her confirmations because she uses the confirmations of the title company that that particular job is for. The notaries can contact the title company if they have any questions because Denise works through them.

That would be your best move if you really want to get to the direct source. She is the most kind and sincere person I know, so she would be more than willing to talk to you.

there are 2 sides to every coin and I believe that Britnney had a good experience with her. I'm sure people have had good experiences with companies and read here that the company is not good. It's all relevant. The forum is for people to voice their opinions and I believe she was just voicing hers. Sometimes this just gets so personal. It's a bit discouraging. I seriously read these posts to see the good, bad and unknown and have found a lot of posts very helpful. On the other hand, when there is a difference of opinion, it gets ugly. Just MHO. By the way, I'm not leaning any way on this one, I just think she wanted people to know that she has had a good experience with Denise Thompson.

and rate her company there...so all can see in the future....not come in saying she has no idea where it's coming from...it's obvious where the negativity is coming from as the post was very recent...actually, she could have just defended the company in that thread. By starting an entire new message she started an entirely new debate.

I understand the message she was trying to convey...however, from what I've read here and googled, Brittney's a very luck person and there are others who have been stiffed by this company/person in the past.

You should have posted Denise Thompson/ELTG or whatever she deems to call herself in Signing Central - there are places for comments. By posting on the forums, you are opening yourself up to any and all comments. Some are good, some are bad - but all are of people who have every right to their own opinion - especially when they are stiffed by performing work as agreed. You may have gotten lucky, but they weren't as lucky as you were.
